Messages stay as you sent them
Before you send, the app can point out shouting or blame. You can still send. After you send, neither parent can edit or delete that message. You can see when the other parent opened it.
Trust & procedure
OnRecord is an iPhone app for separated parents. Messages stay as sent, and you can download a PDF for a lawyer or mediator. A court decides whether to use it. We are not a law firm.
Before you send, the app can point out shouting or blame. You can still send. After you send, neither parent can edit or delete that message. You can see when the other parent opened it.
The download includes a short code. Anyone with the code can use Check an export on this website, with no account. It shows when the file was made and how many messages, events, and expenses were in it. It does not open the PDF, so it cannot tell if someone changed pages later.
You share parenting time, school, and medical dates. On a pickup you can note arrived, child handed over, and left. Expenses can be approved, questioned, or marked paid, with a receipt.
$19.99 a year, or $2.99 a month, after a 7-day free trial. One payment covers both parents and a lawyer who only looks. Reading the record and downloading the PDF stay free. Sending messages and adding events or expenses needs an active plan.
Each PDF has a code and a fingerprint of that download. Anyone can look up the code on Check an export with no account, and compare the case, the time, the counts, and the fingerprint with the PDF cover. onrecord.app is not this website yet. It still shows a placeholder page.
The lookup does not open the PDF, so it cannot catch pages changed later. It does not promise a court will accept the file.
Parents and professionals on your case see the shared record; your private journal is visible only to you. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with our hosting provider, but it is not end-to-end encrypted: people operating OnRecord could technically access stored data, and we only do so for support you request, security, or legal obligations. Neither parent can edit or delete a sent message in the app, and expense changes are logged as amendments instead of overwriting the original.
A lawyer or a guardian ad litem can join a case to look only. They can read messages, the calendar, expenses, and the messages a parent saved. They cannot change the record.
